- Improved capacity for larger models : Visual MODFLOW v.2011.1 now supports 64-bit versions of MODFLOW-2000, MODFLOW-2005, MODFLOW-NWT and SEAWAT, providing more power and greater capacity when running large and/or complex simulations.
- Accelerated and more efficient solving performance1 : The new LMG2 interface for the SAMG multigrid solver drastically reduces model run times, especially when dealing with large grids and highly variable conductivity fields. - More options for defining evapotranspiration : Evapotranspiration (EVT) boundary conditions can now be applied to different model layers during the simulation, allowing for more accurate and representative models.
